Draft policy

Privacy

This early policy explains how ActiveMatch handles the lightweight interest form on this website and how future pilot data may need to be handled if the idea goes ahead. It needs legal review before launch.

Status: Draft for product validation. Last updated: 3 May 2026.

What we collect on this website

The interest form collects your email address and optional metadata you choose to submit, such as role, city or location, activity interests, and update consent.

How we use it

Verification and safety data

This website does not run identity verification, event RSVP, matching, or chat. Any future pilot should use staged verification before RSVP, attendance, matching, or chat. ActiveMatch should store verification status, timestamps, and provider references rather than raw identity documents or biometric data unless legal counsel confirms that storing more is necessary.

Safety reports and feedback

Post-event feedback, reports, blocks, moderation notes, and audit logs should be restricted to trained moderators and used for safety decisions. Reports are private and should not become public dating ratings.

Data minimisation

ActiveMatch should collect the minimum data needed for each stage. The website should only collect lightweight interest data. A future pilot may need separate data for events, eligibility checks, mutual opt-in matching, and safety review.

Your choices

You should be able to ask for access, correction, deletion, and unsubscribe support for website submissions. A future pilot should provide a clear contact route before launch.

Legal review

This policy is not a final legal document. ActiveMatch should complete privacy, safeguarding, event liability, and online safety review before accepting live users into any future pilot.
