Draft policy

Code of conduct

ActiveMatch is not live yet. This draft sets expectations for possible future attendees, hosts, venues, and partners before any London pilot opens.

Status: Draft for product validation. Last updated: 3 May 2026.

Core expectations

Verification and attendance

Future attendees must be 18 or over and complete the required verification before RSVP, check-in, matching, or chat. The current website only collects lightweight interest and does not verify identity or reserve event places.

Messaging and connection requests

ActiveMatch does not open chat before people meet at the same event. After an event, connection requests must be respectful and limited. Chat opens only when both people opt in.

Host and venue standards

Hosts should keep clear rosters, check-in procedures, safety expectations, and escalation routes. Venues should provide practical arrival, accessibility, and contact information for attendees.

Moderation actions

ActiveMatch may use warnings, chat freezes, event restrictions, suspensions, bans, host follow-up, or legal and safeguarding escalation when reports require action. Serious restrictions should involve human review and an audit note.

No public ratings

Do not use ActiveMatch to rate people's attractiveness, chemistry, romantic performance, or desirability. Safety and event feedback is private and moderation-led.
